President Rouhani: Iran determined to develop ties with Pakistan

President Rouhani made the remarks Monday in a meeting with Pakistan's Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif.

He stressed on both countries' need to develop ties and cooperation and implementing bilateral agreement. 

President Rouhani stressed on developing ties in fighting terrorism and safeguarding borders.

Reinforcing security at borders and changing borders into economic and trade borders and also creating border markets will be advantageous for Iran and Pakistan, he added.

Rouhani went on to say that security and regional stability are important for Iran and both countries share the same views as regard solving regional problems.

He also expressed Iran's readiness in maintaining cooperation with regional countries such as fighting terrorism and establishing peace, stability and security.

Meanwhile, Asif underscored on Pakistan's will in developing all-out ties with Iran.

He referred to the fact that regional problems have no military solution, saying it needs regional solutions like Iran's presence.
